Mac - Chatterbox Lipstick

Chatterbox

Recently I added another Lipstick to my fast growing collection of lip products, and being a huge fan of Mac, I decided to splurge a little and bought Mac's Chatterbox. 'Chatterbox' has been on my forever growing wishlist, and when visiting my local Mac counter, I finally gave into temptation! I can't tell you how pleased I am that I did!

The only way I can think to describe this colour is as a very wearable hot pink, it's bright, but not too loud and in your face, very pretty! This is one of my favorite lipsticks from MAC as it's the perfect pink.
I think this colour would suit almost anybody, it goes with everything and I would buy it again and again! Sometimes I don't wear it to its full 'amplified' status, I apply it lightly and blend with my finger so it looks more like a glossy stain.

Even if you don't have time to exfoliate your lips, this lipstick will still look great on your lips- with or without lipgloss. The formula is pigmented and super moustrizing! This does not highlight any dead skin on your lips and makes your lips look fantastic. The light vanilla scent is so nice (unless you don't like vanilla).

MAC cosmetics - Hue Lipstick

Today I went through my make up draw and I found one of my much loved lipsticks by mac cosmetics
Hue.
I discovered this colour a while ago when I saw many YouTubers talking about this beauty! Gorgeous colour, its a pale soft pinky nude and you can wear this day and night. I looks stunning with a smokey eye or with a natural day make up. Sometimes I even pile on this lipstick if I just want to have a soft nude colour on my lips without wearing any other makeup. I don't know how you feel about mac lipsticks but I find they smell delicious and just mmmm.... yummy! The formula of this lipstick is lovely and creamy on my dry lips and applies nicely over the Lush Honey Trap Lip Balm (Blog post). The colour keeps well, and looks fabulous on pale, neutral-toned skin. The glaze finish also gives it a nice sheen without being overpoweringly shiny. It does require a few touch-ups throughout the day but a little concealer or lip liner underneath helps it to last longer. However if you have pigmented lips, Hue may not work well for you. Also during winter when your lips are not looking their best Hue will show every little wrinkle on your lips. Exfoliating your lips will prevent your lips from looking unhealthy and this little trick will make this lipstick work also during the colder months of the year. A major plus for me is the fact that I don't need a mirror to apply this colour. This makes it easy to carry it in your handbag and apply it when ever where ever you need it.

I can't say enough good things about Hue, its a MUST HAVE! I adore this lipstick and can totaly see the hype. Sometimes I even prefere this over my also well loved Creme de' nude
This Lipstick retails for 15$ and you can buy it in a mac store or online.

If you are looking for a nice nude colour that doesn't wash you out, please make your way into your favourite mac store or counter and try this one out. However swatches on the back of your hand may look like a sheer gloss and are not true to the colour on your lips.

I hope this post was helpful :) Please let me know what your favourite nude lipstick is!

Benefit from Benefit - CORALista

Benefit! What an amazing company? How awesome are their products? And have you seen the cute packaging? I know!! This company has it all. I first noticed benefit in my local Sephora Store. I was attracted by the bright packaging, and the cute counter. When I first stood in front of all the wonderful cosmetic products, I did not know where to start. Lipsticks? Brows? Highlighter? I decided to check out their products online, and read some reviews about them before I spend  my money on something I might not like. Even though the products are quite expensive, there was one product that stood out in every review I saw.
The lovely blush 'CORALista'.

Let's look at the packaging:

wonderful how bright these colours are :) The packaging is made really nicely and I think the cardboxes are unique. A small box, easy to pile and store. Easy to open and close with an attached flip lid. Plus it has a little cute mirror on the inside. The brush that comes with the blush, is cute and helpful if you are not at home, and the brush is definitely better quality than the typical plastic brushes you will get with products. But I still much prefer an actual blush brush for application.
Now looking at the wonderful coral colour:

There is not one bad thing I could say about CORALista! It smells amazing, is light, not to bright and a little goes a long way. I simply adore this blush for the colour and shimmer. It was love at first sight ;) The coral toned powder has a gold shimmer to it which looks absolutly stunning. The pigmentation of CORALista is really nice, and like other Benefit Box'o Powders.
CORAListaBenefit describes this wonderful blush as :
"Our warm coral-pink cheek powder is your "coral blush for a tropical flush"! This shade cheers up every skin tone in seconds.Complete with soft, natural-bristle blush brush."
How to Apply
"Swirl brush in the box & blow off excess. Smile & brush lightly across the apples of your cheeks, starting from the hairline and working in. Then lightly dust over high point of face for that touch of sunshine!"
I agree with benefit, this Coral colour is made for every skintone and looks just fresh and soft. You can wear this colour all year round. I promise you will not waist your money if you buy this "Box o'Powder"

It retails for 32€  and 28$ . You can buy this amazing product here

Let me know if you have any favourite make up items from Benefit. I Benefit a lot from this product and I would repurchase it again and again.

If you have any questions about this product please ask, and I will try to help you. This product is definitely a beauty and only POSITIVE! I love it.
